Conclusion
For a long time, the Geekbar Pulse was considered the benchmark among disposable e-cigarettes. But after intensive use of the new Pulse X, we have to say: The throne now belongs to its successor.
The Pulse X takes everything that made the Pulse popular and noticeably improves it. Flavor, endurance, fast charging, and consistent performance – it delivers all of this reliably, but with subtle upgrades.
It's not quite perfect, though. The eye-catching "Starry Display" light show will polarize opinions, and it's a shame that you can't turn it off. Independently adjustable airflow would also have increased its usability. Nevertheless, the two available draw modes (MTL and a loose MTL/RDL) cover most needs well.
If you're looking for a long-lasting disposable that offers consistent performance and strong flavor, the Geekbar Pulse X is one of the best options currently available.
From Pulse to Pulse X
Geekbar has evolved from a sub-brand of Geekvape to one of the leading brands for disposable devices. A key factor in this growth was the Pulse, which won many fans in late 2023 with its 15.000 puffs, long battery life, and reliable draw.
The Geek Bar Pulse X However, it's not a simple update, but a completely new development. It retains the basic shape, but looks more elegant, curved, and above all, more modern – with a large, curved display dominating the front.
At 91,6 x 57,4 x 29 mm, it's significantly larger than its predecessor—almost as bulky as a small box mod. It's less suitable for those on the go with multiple flavors, but more suited to users who stick to one flavor.
Design & Display
Visually, the Pulse X makes a high-quality impression. The plastic casing with a satin finish looks almost like metal, and the logos are discreet.
The most striking element, however, is the "Starry Display." With every move, an animation starts—glittering stars in Regular mode or a kind of constellation in Pulse mode. It looks spectacular, but not everyone will like it, and unfortunately, there's no shut-off function.
What is practical, however, is the display for battery level and liquid level, both in percent, as well as clear visualizations for the active mode.
Performance & Features
With 18 ml of liquid, the Pulse X can achieve up to 25.000 puffs in regular mode or 15.000 in Pulse mode – a significant leap over the original Pulse.
The battery has been increased to 820 mAh and lasts for two to three days of intensive use. Thanks to USB-C fast charging, it reaches 80% in just 20 minutes and a full charge in about 35 minutes.
The dual mesh coils combined with VPU technology ensure even heating, clean e-liquid delivery, and intense flavor. Performance remains consistent even after thousands of puffs.
The triple switch on the bottom controls both mode and airflow: tight MTL draw in Regular mode, loose MTL/RDL in Pulse mode, and a lock function for safety.

flavors
Pulse X launches with 15 flavors—including well-known classics like Blue Razz Ice and Watermelon Ice, as well as many new creations. Some highlights:
- Sour Apple Ice: Crisp green apple with a sweet and sour balance and gentle cooling.
- Sour Fcuking FabTastes like fruity candy with a sour note, very sweet – best enjoyed in moderation.
- Grapefruit Refresher: Rarely authentic grapefruit flavor, refreshing and slightly sweet.
- Sour Mango Pineapple: Mango and pineapple in equal parts, refined by a sour note.
- Lime Berry Orange: Sweet, candied mix of lime, berries and orange – reminiscent of an ice cream on a stick.
Judgement
The Geekbar Pulse X sets new standards for disposable devices. More puffs, a larger battery, fast charging, and consistently strong flavor make it a clear upgrade.
The eye-catching light show and limited airflow control are weak points that could have been addressed better. Nevertheless, they hardly detract from the overall experience.
For vapers looking for a reliable high-puff device with intense flavor, the Pulse X is a clear recommendation.
